Bored Of Playing Grand Theft Auto 5 Thinking Of Grand Theft Auto 6.Grand Theft Auto V has only been out for two months but already talk has begun over the next instalment.
Since release, GTA V has gone on to become one of this year’s biggest-selling video games, earning rave reviews and smashing numerous Guiness World Records in the process.
Which goes some way to explaining the early excitement surrounding its inevitable successor – GTA VI.
Given the recent dawn of next generation consoles, the possibilities for VI are practically endless – in fact, publishers Rockstar stated back in October that they have “about 45 years’ worth of ideas”.
After generating $800 million in 24 hours and $1 billion in three days of GTA V’s release, a follow-up is pretty much a given – though perhaps fans shouldn’t hold their breath for a new addition to the long-running sandbox franchise, given the rate Rockstar tend to churn out their titles.
Nevertheless, we’re still pretty excited about what lies in store for future Grand Theft Auto games, and will be watching with anticipation over the next few years to see what Rockstar have up their sleeves.
